Ok, some of you keep asking, so here you go... *Warning* This thread contains no airsoft ;)
The pouch is not for four magazines, it is for only three.
The first pic shows the pouch opened:
The black thing furthest away is the cleaning kit (in its pouch) in the little side pocket, the 3 bakerlite AK74 mags are obvious and the fourth mysterious pocket holds 4 stripper/charger clips (they fit in the loops you can see inside this pocket) and a loading tool, over which the little leather strap fasten to hold it in place.
Next pic shows one stripper/charger removed and laid next to the loading tool:
Next pic shows how you place the loading tool over the open end of the stripper/charger, which depresses a spring clip allowing you to slide in fifteen 5.45x39 rounds:
Thats half a mag's worth ;)
The loading tool is removed from the stripper/charger and the spring clip pings up and the fifteen rounds are locked in the stripper/charger and cannot fall out:
These are then placed the fourth cell of the mag pouch.
Lastly, to load a mag with the stripper/charger the loading tool is reattached, and its wide end slides into the grooves cut in the bakerlite magazine like this:
You can see the grooves I am on about if you look at the mag lying down bottom right - the little white line...
One firm push down and fiften rounds go into the mag in a flash, two strips and you have an entire mag.
With the four charger/strippers in your pouch you have another 60 rounds or two mags to supplement your 3 initially loaded mags. Further ammo in cardboard boxes may be carried in backpacks, pockets etc etc.
Hope this has helped you all Comrades!
PS yes, I know those are DDR mags ;)
